In other words: for such a rocking song, why did 8th Gen, Gaki*Kame and Sayumin get left out?!
Now, make no mistake, I absolutely LOVE the song Resonant Blue. It’s got great lyrics (and features the return of Angry MoMusu, which seems to be the direction they’re going to go under Takitty. I don’t mind this, because it’s either they sing break-up songs or they sing about sex, in order to sell. Or, well, maybe they’ll sing about both soon. You never know what Tsunku’ll pull out of his ass). It’s got a great sound–not too much like Old School MoMusu, not too much like Egao YES Nude, but it’s got enough of both of them to make it different, you know? I like the funky beat, I like the distinct lack of Tsunku, except for at the beginning (it’s like Tokaikko Junjou, where he was rather nonexistant). And I really like how Takitty, Tanakacchi, and Kame*Gaki are sounding.
However, I want to know where my Gen 8 is! I love Junjun, and Aika, and, even to a lesser extent, Linlin! And, I also wanna know why Kame*Gaki got so shafted here. So… we’re going to play everyone’s favoritest game: Find the 8th Generation!

So, this is the first installment of my Karaoke Pimpage feature, and the first time for Kaori Basket to be featured :O
For those asking what this is, this is Kuri’s attempt to pimp out karaoke groups. If you like to sing and pretend your an idol of any kind, I encourage you to join these sorts of cover groups. They’re a lot of fun for the most part, and they have some pretty stellar results.

Oh. My. God.
Amuro Namie, I am proclaiming you the Goddess of Jpop. Ayu can be the Empress, Kumi the princess, Hikki and BoA the strangers from A Foreign Land, but Namie is the Goddess.
Obviously, I have just gotten my claws on the latest Amuro single 60s 70s 80s. As a child of none of these decades, but loving them all separately, I am absolutely fucking astounded by this single. It blows anything else released this year out of the water.

Obviously, I have not been updating Morning Kuri as much as I’d like. This is largely due to the fact that Kuri has been insanely practicing for her school musical.
As it happens, opening night for said musical (Anything Goes) is tomorrow night, and as she is in a doublecast role, while she only goes on as Bonnie for two nights, she’s doing bit parts for the other two shows. And she still must sing and dance like her life depends on it. Now, while this relates somewhat indirectly to idols and performing, it really has nothing to do with blogging, except for the fact that it’s made me so exhausted that I barely have time to do anything besides go over my lines, shower, and do homework.
Now, on that matter, after I come out of my Post-Musical Comatose sometime next week, around Friday, most likely–I do plan on blogging more regularly. As it turns out, I have been writing scraps of entries on the side, during past-4PM practices when the most I’m doing is being on book for the other cast members. A list of the upcoming entries is as follows:
1) Bye Bye Biyuuden; Bonjour Buono! (or, a look at trios in H!P)
2) RR! 05 – This Entry’s a Little Long, But… (Memory Seishun no Hikari)

Also, there WILL definately be new features at MK, namely the Church of Reina bit–sorry CJ, but somehow, she’s won me over and I feel the need to promote her–as well as a Karaoke Feature in order to promote several cover groups I’m a part of (in particular: Kaori Basket)
And, finally… For about a week after the musical, expect me to picspam this blog with pictures of the cast being idiots. Because… even if we’re idiots, we’re (mostly) sexy idiots.

Remember my predictions? Let’s see how they’re coming along…
Well, Maimi DID get a pb. I was right about that. Iida Kaori DID have a baby boy. Ongaku Gatas seemingly IS permanent; and today, they announced that Mano Erina was graduating OnGatas to be a soloist. I predicted she’d move over to Nice Girl Project, but she’ll be an H!P soloist, so… I was half-right.
Now, the rumoured Milky Way could be anything at this point, so I’m still quietly hoping for a Airi-Arisa duo in a corner.
However, instead of Biyuuden continuing to be sexy, they’re disbanding. I’m still predicting that by the end of the year, MKB will disband as well. The Elder Club is dying.
Also, come on–you KNOW Okada’s cleavage is getting its own photobook.
